As part of our team, you will lead business development activities with video game developers and other industry partners. You will land new partnerships and extend existing ones to ensure Paradox Interactive’s portfolio stays fresh and singularly

“Paradox”-flavored. You work with product management, legal, finance, production and marketing, to evaluate/develop, garner internal approval for business cases, negotiate and close publishing partnership deals with developers and other partners.

  • Drive relevant business modeling, forecasting, assist in portfolio planning efforts.
  • Guide publishing partnerships and agreements through the Paradox Interactive’s Greenlight Process.
  • Maintain a high-level of internal and external partner satisfaction.
  • Analyze global market opportunities and help execute existing strategies for our segments (Management, RPG and Strategy) that will drive revenue growth.
  • Help plan and lead parts of the business development teams day-to-day operations. 

Required qualifications:
  • +5 years experience in similar roles in the games industry with an existing (and extensive) contact network.
  • BS/BSc (or equivalent) in business or technology required
  • Proven experience spanning business development and strategy in gaming and interactive entertainment, including executing publishing, distribution, development, and technology deals with external partners.
  • Cross-functional work experience within business development, finance, and marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills - fluent in English - written and spoken
  • Experience with management/simulation/strategy games will be considered an advantage.
  • Professional experience in game development will be considered an advantage

On a personal level you have the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects while not compromising for quality. You have a knack for developing relationships and comfortable dealing different audiences on a broad range of topics i.e. technical, business and creative. Finally, you are passionate about games and business and are always looking for innovative ways to combine the two.

Scope: Full time and permanent

Reports to: VP of Business Development

Location: Stockholm
