POSITION OVERVIEW

As part of SEGA’s on-going efforts to strengthen our digital publishing capabilities, we are looking for an experienced, self-guiding and hard-working Project Manager to help develop the software set and functionality of multiple service platform products by managing the development of individual projects and the overall management of the development team.

We believe the successful candidate has spent the past 2-4 years in a similar role in a software or technology organization, with a proven ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical customers alike.

Since you’re likely a passionate gamer, you will immediately blend into our young and hungry team of industry changers, bringing your product management skills to our new, rapidly growing and very exciting digital publishing team!

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Project manager for the projects within the technology space
  • Ensuring team members work together in the most effective manner
  • Manage the development team resources to deliver against technology projects
  • Work closely with product teams on a daily basis to ensure project progress and maintain constant open communication
  • Identify risks/issues and escalate to the necessary and appropriate team members
  • Review and analyse project scope and work within the development schedule
  • Track and review individual and Dev team tasks and velocity; revise forecasted deliverables throughout the duration of the projects
  • Prepare project schedule and status reports
  • Regularly report progress and potential issues of projects to the Head of Live Operations and Development




KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE


  • Agile experience, Scrum Master
  • Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Bamboo)
  • Cucumber
  • Google Analytics & Tag Manager
  • TDD, BDD & Unit testing
  • Experience working collaboratively with internal cross-functional and external vendor teams to develop strategies that meet business goals within budget, time and scope
  • Experience in project planning, resource planning and scheduling with recognized project management methodologies including work breakdown structures, risk/issue management, resource loading, project monitoring and controlling, and quality assurance
  • Ability to form and maintain key relationships of mutual trust and respect, which fosters a climate of collaboration, both internally and externally;
  • Familiarity with, or even experience from the gaming industry a huge plus!
