|Job Description||Role Overview – Software Engineer (Automation)
As a Software Engineer specialising in Automation you will be instrumental in project success and driving company technology forward. You will be expected to adhere to, and actively encourage, good software engineering practices and company technology standards. You will have a passion and understanding of best practice in automated software testing, you’ll help enhance our automated test frameworks, and you’ll ensure our software is robust and performant (e.g. unit testing, load testing, continuous integration).
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Strong software engineering skills are essential. You have a high level of C++ or C# experience, and a passion for learning new languages and technologies. Always looking for ways to further your knowledge and expertise - no challenge is too small, too big, or too difficult for you.
You are a good communicator and help inform and support the non-engineering members of the development team. You care about the development process and improve it at every opportunity.
Above all else, a passion and enthusiasm for making games is a must-have! We care about the games we are making and how they can be better, and we will be looking for this in you too!
We use Unity: If you have Unity experience, that’s a bonus; but experience in other engines is also transferable.
We make client/server games: Experience with client/server technologies is beneficial. As well as experience with networking, database engines and server infrastructure.
