Games Jobs - Production - Guildford
|Job Title||Development Coordinator - Guildford|
|Job Category||Project Manager|
|Job Description||Stellar Entertainment is an established software company located in the UK's de facto video game capital Guildford. Based in lovely central offices we have expanded and are looking for a development coordinator to help us run our busy projects.
The ideal candidate would have several year’s experience having seen at least 2 projects from concept to release, including the downloadable content, patches & live services post release. You hold a degree level qualification. You are well versed in planning the unplannable and dealing with changes that frequently appear, which the team needs to respond to. You will be responsible for tracking our projects through their major gates & deadlines as well as ensuring that the team has a credible production plan at all times. When faced with difficult choices you always have a Plan B (& C) to get us out of any situation. You can track multiple things with ease, speak fluent programmer, designer & artist. In essence you are the lynch pin that holds all of our software production together.
We're not interested in hiring people that follow the same old, same old. We're looking for dynamic individuals who can come up with new ways of doing things. Who push us forward & make us stronger as a studio every day.
Stellar Entertainment Software was established by industry veterans from Electronic Arts & Ubisoft. With multiple decades of experience between us we have already shipped our first number 1, Burnout Paradise Remastered, on PS4 & Xbox One.
We are working on some larger projects and have reached the limits of what a developer and a trello board can provide!
What we offer
This is an exciting opportunity to help grow and shape an up and coming studio. It's our belief that we are not looking for a development manager today, but we're looking to hire tomorrow's Development Director. You will be our first Dev Manager so the role is yours to create as you see fit. Nothing has been laid down yet and it's a blank sheet of paper for you to write. The decisions you make and the processes you put into place today will influence the company for the years to come.
As well as salary, pension and holiday pay we are a social company who love a lunch time network gaming session; team lunch in one of Guildford's restaurants as well as a couple of beers on a Friday evening.
If boarding the rocket ship and flying to the stars sounds like your sort of mission then send your CV to Stellar Entertainment.
