Art Director

MetaverseME is an independent gaming studio creating new and exciting experiences in the worlds of games, sports, music and fashion. Through great partnerships within each of these fields we are incorporating new technologies to create a range of innovative, fun, inclusive and social experiences.

Our first title is KickOff™ Evolution, a 5-a-side online football game for up to 10 players, to be followed by a multiplayer Mario Kart style racing game based around a new IP. This is in addition to our interactive social app, MetaverseMe, which builds a real community around all our games.

Our founders are gaming industry veterans (each with decades of experience) who are passionate about games, the game creation process and cutting-edge technology. Their bios include prestigious IPs such as Kick off, Worms, Trackmania, Dirt 2, Harry Potter and The Sims.

We are looking to hire people who like working with the latest tech and game design methodologies, but who are also interested in the crossover between games, music, fashion, art and the digital world - leaders not followers.

Positions are remote, within UK or EU time-zones, so communication skills are very important. Positions are also available working from our new offices in Malta. Passion and drive are a given, as is the desire to be at the start of a new form of entertainment.

We are currently looking for an Art Director to lead our art team, ideally with the following:

•             At least 5 years industry experience

•             Impressive portfolio of shipped games titles

•             Experience with industry standard tools and practice

•             At least 3 years Unity experience, particularly concerning pipelines

•             Experience with overseeing multiple projects simultaneously

•             Excellent communication skills in English
