Backend Programmer - AWS, Unity

Senior Backend Developer with AWS experience for a 3 months initial contract working on a new multiplatform multiplayer party game based on a very well known IP.

You’ll be working as part of the experienced team on the development of new game features that integrate with AWS.

In this role you must have:

Experience in building REST and Websocket API's

Experience with ASP.NET Core framework

Working knowledge of NoSQL databases

Experience developing and shipping titles for multiple consoles & PC

Experience of working with Unity3D

The capability to implement quality solutions to deadline

Ideally you would also have:

Some experience with frontend web-application development (JS, CSS, HTML, etc)

Experience with authorization frameworks, especially OAuth 2.0

Key Responsibilities:

Developing API code in tandem with the client-side layers that wrap these API's

Collaborating closely with game/frontend developers to communicate API semantics

Designing and implementing quality client/server code

Ensuring scalability, reliability and maintainability for all platforms

This is an initial 3 month contract, start date immediate, with the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK. Day rate to £300 day. This role sits outside of IR35.
