As a senior leader within the product leadership team, you will own the marketing strategy and execution of TheHunter: Call of the Wild. You will use player insights, data, and clear performance frameworks to shape product strategy, strengthen brand equity, and drive measurable revenue and player growth.
What you'll do:
- Strategic Ownership: Own the end-to-end marketing and brand strategy for The Hunter: Call of the Wild, with direct accountability for hitting defined commercial outcomes, achieving player growth targets, and measurably improving brand health metrics.
- Product Accountability: As part of the cross-functional product leadership team, you will represent publishing and marketing expertise in product decisions, goals, and roadmap priorities.
- High-Performance Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and empower a team of marketing professionals, setting clear performance objectives, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making, and driving the team to consistently deliver impactful results.
- Brand Elevation: Evolve the brand framework and channels for the game, ensuring consistency in brand attributes, tone, and style, with a direct focus on enhancing brand perception and player loyalty.
- Results-Driven Approach: Establish and continuously refine a robust framework for measuring the direct value and return on investment of all marketing activities. Proactively identify and scale initiatives that drive sales while optimizing underperforming efforts. Drive automation efforts of the performance measurement and reporting.
- Product Positioning: Develop compelling and unique product positioning and selling points for each campaign, designed to resonate with target audiences and achieve conversion goals.
- Player-centric Decision Making: Partner closely with the Insights team to leverage comprehensive player and market data, ensuring all product and marketing decisions are informed by rigorous analysis and aimed at maximizing commercial success.
- Budget Ownership: Manage and forecast marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI and product objectives.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Align marketing strategies and outcomes with overarching product and company objectives, waterfalling down to individual goals across the team.
- Market Expertise: Stay abreast of games industry developments, player trends, and competitor activities to proactively identify new marketing opportunities, maintain a competitive edge, and experiment with new strategies for sustained growth.
Who you are:
- Experience working in the games industry.
- A senior marketing expert with extensive commercial acumen and strong data fluency, who understands how to navigate the evolving landscape of the games industry.
- Demonstrated success in leading marketing teams and developing strategies that resonate with players and achieve business objectives.
- Proven experience and ideally a passion for measuring marketing performance and translating results into insights that add value to the business.
- A strategic marketer with a history of accomplishing long-term brand goals and delivering innovative marketing campaigns that drive growth.
- Eager to mentor and empower others with a collaborative and inclusive management style.
- Passionate about games and games culture, with the foresight to anticipate market trends and seize cultural opportunities.
- Ability to context switch between product discussions, high level strategic marketing planning, and involvement in daily operations.
