We’re now looking for a Communications Lead who will spearhead our efforts to build and maintain a positive brand image across all Avalanche Studios Group. While reporting to the Head of Marketing you will work closely with the ASG Marketing team and other senior stakeholders across the company. You will develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to effectively engage players and external stakeholders, enhancing our company's brand and product presence. This integrated role covers corporate and product communications to ensure cohesive and impactful messaging across all our channels. You will ensure our company’s image with the media, stakeholders at all levels and the wider games industry is strong and consistent!
What you'll do:
- Develop the overall external communications strategy & framework for company and product brands.
- Manage the annual external communications calendar to support key milestones and releases.
- Lead all external communications related to our product portfolio and company brands.
- Utilize the company brand voice and ensure consistency in all external communications.
- Build product PR plans as part of Go-To-Market plans.
- Collaborate with marketing teams providing communications expertise.
- Build and maintain a network of media contacts.
- Maintain PR guidelines and external comms contingency.
- Establish relationships with event organizers and spokespeople.
- Collaborate closely with the internal communications team.
Who you are:
- Seasoned communications professional with senior experience in the video games industry.
- Comfortable crafting all types of written communication and building integrated strategies.
- Experience working with media outlets, influencers (directly and through agencies).
- Strategic and hands-on, managing CEO interviews and crafting press releases.
- Results-driven approach, keeping track of industry trends.
- Experienced copywriter with excellent editorial skills.
- Comfortable with public speaking.
- Previous experience from an international games publisher.
