Are You Up To The Challenge?
Our Community Manager will be a core member of our Community & Social Media (CSM) Team in PC & Console Marketing. The role is responsible for community building in Discord, Reddit and Steam through regular communication with the player base for each of our 11+ PC and Console games and for Kwalee Gaming itself.
Your Team Mates
Our team of publishers and managers work with game development studios who want to produce refreshing games for the PC and console markets. With over seven functional teams, our expertise on publishing multiplatform games spans across 30 collective years.
What Does The Job Actually Involve?

Supporting the Senior CSM Team Manager on writing and creating Discord server content and Steam announcements.

Organise and host engaging events, such as game nights, Q&A sessions, contests, or exclusive community activities on Discord.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create event concepts and coordinate logistics.

Generate excitement and encourage participation in events through effective promotion and community engagement.

Develop creative ideas for community challenges, polls, or discussions to encourage participation and interaction.

Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to align Discord content with overall brand messaging and campaigns.
Your Hard Skills

2+ Years proven experience in community management, preferably on Discord.

In-depth understanding of Discord features, functionalities, and best practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage and connect with a diverse community.

Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content and event ideas.

Proficient in using Discord moderation tools and bots.
-
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret community data and generate actionable insights.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Passion for gaming, online communities, or related industries is a plus.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is a significant benefit
