Development Director - AAA - SE London
" Ref - 5320600. As Development Director you will own the project plan to launch and continually operate the game on time, to quality, and within budget. Agile Leadership to continually review and improve processes and team performance.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and drive the game's overall development plan, constantly focused on team performance and health whilst executing against the ongoing vision for the game.
• Entrusted to bring together the people, materials and tools, unencumbering teams through constant direction, mentoring and management; and are not afraid to change agile production process to match team performance.
• Ensure a strong focus on quality, teamwork, communication and improvement to continually execute great games and content.
• Own the project plan to launch and continually operate the game in on time, to quality, and within budget.
• Drawing on your agile leadership experience, you are able to continually review and improve the development process and team performance, and executive development plans to suit different projects.
Requirements:
• 12+ years games industry experience
• Proven track record of owning and delivering AAA games to market (full-dev cycle XP)
• Shipped titles that have generated both critical acclaim and financial success
• Has worked on, or has expert knowledge of multiplayer games
• Demonstrated experience that you can carry a project plan to launch
• Experience in leading large teams (50+)
• Someone who can be relied upon to deliver truth when questions of project progress and tracking are raised
This studio works on-site in South East London/Kent.
Relocation and Visa support can be provided.
Prior experience in these areas would be desirable but the studio really values talent and passion above all else!
