"To apply: Ref - 5350000. We're looking for an experienced Economy Designer to take on a pivotal role in shaping mobile game concepts into intricate models of game balance and economy. Collaborate closely with all teams, maintaining a numerical perspective on user behaviour whilst leveraging your passion for games to enhance the player experience.
Responsibilities
• Design, model, and maintain the balance of in-game economies
• Develop simulations and models to test, balance, and optimize the economies of games, considering the target audience and diverse player profiles
• Prepare detailed balance sheets, charts, and reports to analyze and enhance the game’s economy
• Analyze player data to pinpoint areas for improvement
• Understand the game KPIs to refine game balance
• Work closely with the development team to smoothly integrate economic systems and features
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market research, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for improvement
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Economy Design for mobile games, with at least one title successfully launched in the market
• In-depth knowledge of the Free-to-Play (F2P) market
• Proficient in creating, balancing, and optimizing complex economic simulations
• Advanced skills in Excel and a solid background in mathematics/statistics
• A good grasp of player psychology and behaviour
• Excellent communication skills in English
• A strong passion for video games
This role is on-site and based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Prior experience in these areas would be desirable but the studio really values talent and passion above all else!
