Game Designer - Berlin

"To apply: Ref - 5242400. We are seeking a talented and experienced Game Designer to join the team and help create exciting mobile games in the free-to-play space. At this studio, the designers are dedicated to creating high-quality and engaging player experiences that keep these games at the forefront of the industry.

As a Game Designer, you will work closely with the talented team to articulate design choices in terms of player experience and motivations. You will also create and maintain documentation of design solutions, as well as use your knowledge of the casual player and market to create features that entertain and delight our players.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to define and sharpen the game vision and high-level experience
• Identify new features for our games and make recommendations to the production team
• Take ownership of game design during implementation to ensure delivery happens as designed
• Participate in the planning and execution of cohesive and scalable gameplay experiences
• Iterate, balance, and tune gameplay features based on KPIs and feedback

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of working experience shipping casual F2P mobile titles
• Strong understanding of player emotional experience and ability to put the player first
• Knowledge of current market and trends
• Experience writing clear and concise game design documentation
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Passionate, curious, self-motivated, task-driven, and open to constructive criticism
