My Client is a fast-growing game development studio headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. they’re building original IPs with global appeal, blending creative ambition with commercial discipline. As they scale, we’re looking for a Growth Director to lead their monetisation strategy and drive sustainable revenue across their portfolio.
This is a pivotal leadership role for someone who understands the intersection of player experience, data, and business—and knows how to turn engagement into long-term value.
The Role
As Growth Director, you’ll be responsible for designing and executing monetisation strategies that align with their creative vision and business goals. You’ll work closely with product, publishing, and analytics teams to optimize in-game economies, pricing models, and player lifecycle value.
You’ll also lead growth initiatives across marketing, partnerships, and community—but with a core focus on monetisation performance and commercial scalability
️ Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the studio’s monetisation strategy across all titles and platforms
- Collaborate with game teams to design player-centric monetisation systems (IAPs, subscriptions, live ops, etc.)
- Analyze player behavior, market trends, and revenue data to inform pricing and content strategies
- Optimize conversion funnels, retention mechanics, and ARPU/ARPPU metrics
- Lead go-to-market planning for new titles and content updates
- Identify and execute strategic partnerships that enhance monetisation potential
- Build and mentor a small growth team focused on performance marketing and revenue optimization
- Report directly to studio leadership and contribute to long-term business planning
Requirements
- 7+ years in a senior growth, monetisation, or publishing role within the games industry
- Proven success in designing and scaling monetisation systems for live games or mobile titles
- Deep understanding of player psychology, engagement loops, and value perception
- Strong analytical skills and fluency in KPIs like LTV, CAC, churn, and conversion
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including product, design, and data
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to relocate to Riyadh or travel regularly (relocation support provided)
