HR Executive

Junkfish is looking for a HR Executive to join our team and manage the day-to-day activities in our Human Resources department.

You will maintain or enhance a full employee experience cycle from recruitment, satisfaction, people development to exit formalities. To be successful in this role, you should have solid organizational skills and be familiar with HR functions. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. Ultimately, you will be our Culture Wizard and ensure smooth running of our group of company’s offices, HR operations and contribute to driving sustainable growth.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage the full spectrum of HR Operations such as Recruitment, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, Welfare, Performance Appraisals, Induction & exit clearance, etc.
  • Serve as the studio’s primary HR contact and provide guidance to managers and employees for company policies and all HR-related aspects.
  • Support managers and employees in resolving informal workplace issues and complaints and support the delivery of disciplinary action in line with the company's discipline policy.
  • Navigate recruitment processes (posting ads, filtering, arranging interviews, hiring preparation) including the administration of work pass applications and temporary contractual freelancers.
  • Support in formulating and reviewing HR polices, employee benefits and entitlements to ensure the company stays competitive. Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices.
  • Maintain and ensure proper documentation of processes, employee databases, and personnel files.
  • Support managers in researching, developing, and delivering proactive people initiatives to improve employee engagement, career progression, development and diversity & inclusion.
  • Administration of office admin duties like mail/courier handling, logistics, management of employee claims, leave requests and insurance for our offices when appropriate. 
  • Working with finance to prepare purchase orders and manage the procurement of relevant hardware and software.
  • Assist in organizing company events and activities such as Team Building, trade shows, company dinners.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Min 3 years’ experience in HR/Admin
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good communication, organizational skills and with multi-tasking abilities.
  • Teamwork (ability and willingness to work with all levels of organization)
