Lead 3D Artist (Generalist)
Are you an experienced Lead 3D Artist with a passion for crafting stunning, stylized worlds? My client are on the lookout for a talented individual to spearhead our art team in the creation of existing and brand-new, captivating IP. As the Lead 3D Artist, you'll collaborate with the other Lead Artist, Lead Designer, Lead Programmer, and Producer to ensure the game exudes a unique style and maintains a polished, high-quality finish.
Key Responsibilities:

Creative Leadership: Take charge of the artistic vision, ensuring alignment with game design and player experience. Effectively guide and communicate artistic intent to the team of 8 artist.

Pipeline Oversight: Manage the end-to-end art pipeline process, from problem-solving and scoping tasks to assigning responsibilities and monitoring progress. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless implementation.

Resource Management: Identify art resource needs and contribute to the recruitment process when necessary. Mentor and guide less experienced artists, and manage outsourcing efforts.

Technical Proficiency: Showcase a versatile skill set encompassing 3D modeling, texturing, VFX, lighting, shaders, and look dev. Proficiency in common Game Art tools such as Unity, 3DS Max/Blender, Substance Designer/Painter, Zbrush, and Photoshop.

Team: Inspire, support, and guide the art team to deliver their best work. Foster a positive and proactive culture within the team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a lead artist, or mentoring or otherwise managing a small team.
- Recent Games Industry experience.
- Strong Unity skills.
- Proficiency in 3DS Max/Blender, Substance Designer/Painter, Zbrush, and Photoshop.
- Solid understanding of lighting, shaders, and scene setup.
- Excellent communication skills with a positive demeanor.
- Ability to effectively manage and delegate tasks.
