Lead Gameplay Programmer

Amiqus are currently working exclusively with a UK-based games development studio to help them find a talented Lead Gameplay Programmer. Part of a group of studios, they are currently in the very early stages of a VR action and adventure project.

As the Lead Gameplay Programmer, you will be responsible for leading the game team in prototyping and shipping genre-leading gameplay, collaborating with various teams to guide the game from inception onwards. Along with mentoring and developing the programming team, you will also ensure that code is clean, maintainable and that delivery milestones are achieved.

Requirements:

  • A passion for VR Games.
  • Expert knowledge of C++ and high-performance programming.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering game features, systems, tools, and pipelines using UE4.
  • Ability to critique code constructively and provide game feedback.
  • A collaborative individual who thrives in a supportive and inclusive environment.

This is a remote role within the UK. Along with holidays, duvet days and additional benefits, the studio is offering a salary of up-to £60k depending on the individual.
