About The Role

They’re looking for an experienced Lead Programmer with deep Unreal Engine expertise to help shape the future of their next titles. This is your opportunity to join an established team primed for growth and help to drive the technical direction of their upcoming projects while still in the early stages of development.

What You’ll Do

Working alongside the Technical Director, you will lead a team of programmers through development, mentorship and code reviews.

Design, prototype and implement compelling gameplay systems, mechanics or technical solutions.

Collaborate with designers, artists and other engineers to fully understand requirements allowing them to be turned into fully functional systems.

Aid other programmers with technical implementations and debugging.

Lead by example ensuring code quality, performance and stability across multiple platforms.

Guide best practices in Unreal Engine, with a strong emphasis on clean, modular and reusable systems.

Help define project and system timelines and contribute to production planning.

You’ll ideally have -

5+ years of professional experience programming in C++ within the games industry.

Experience in a lead or above role with proven experience leading or mentoring a team of programmers.

Strong Unreal Engine knowledge – ideally UE5

Multiple shipped games, including Unreal Engine titles.

A problem solver, able to apply themselves to any area of game development as required.

Experience with console development.
