Lead / Principal Engine Programmer to join this co-developer who focus on engine and tools development, profiling and optimisation for AAA titles. IPs worked on include Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Returnal, Horizon: Call of the Mountain, Destiny and Call of Duty.
As the studio grows they are looking to hire a Lead / Principal to be the client interface while also leading a small team to deliver on the projects they are working on.
The qualities they expect for a Lead / Principal Programmer are:
Ability to liaise well with external partners
Self-directed ability to identify and plan work required to solve technical issues
Ability to delegate work effectively to a small programming team
Solid understanding of game engine architecture
Deep understanding of one or more technical specialities
Experience working on UE4 / UE5
Strong C/C++ programming skills
5+ years experience
Ideal candidates will show:
Strong mathematical ability
Experience shipping AAA titles
All roles are remote, offer 25 days holiday plus Christmas shutdown, Bonus, Share Scheme, Pension and Healthcare.
Basic salary to six figures dependent on experience.
