Role Title: Membership Account Officer
Salary: £28k - £30k per annum, depending upon experience. PIPs pension, bonus scheme, private medical scheme and generous holiday allowance, private healthcare.

Location: Black Bull Yard, 24-28 Hatton Wall, London, EC1N8JH but we offer a mix of working remotely and in the office. There will be office-based team and member related activities on a regular basis and national and international travel on occasions.

UK Interactive Entertainment (Ukie) is the trade body representing over 600 businesses from the games and interactive entertainment industry in the UK. Our membership includes cutting-edge companies working across the interactive entertainment industry from Sony PlayStation, Electronic Arts and Microsoft to Roll7, Space Ape and Jagex, making and selling games across all platforms and formats. We also have an extensive membership networks of service companies, academic institutions, and charities. The Role
We are recruiting an individual who is passionate about supporting all companies that work in our cutting-edge sector. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone to shape how games and interactive entertainment businesses of all sizes, up and down the UK, can grow and thrive in what is an exciting time for the industry.
The Membership Account Officer is responsible for identifying and recruiting businesses, liaising with them to assess their specific needs, and providing them with access to programmes, contacts, activities, and events that will support their objectives. Additionally, the Membership Account Officer will be responsible for developing new events, products and services that Ukie can offer to its members, and which can be commercialised for non-members.
The Membership Account Officer is also the first port of call for current members, across our membership categories and tiers. The Officer will work with members to develop a deep understanding of their business objectives and will be responsible for ensuring they are maximising the benefits of their Ukie membership.

Qualities for this role
In addition to the personal qualities above, for this role we are also looking for a creative and strategic thinker with excellent administration and communication skills. The desired candidate will also possess the ability to identify commercial opportunities and be able to deliver projects on time and within a budget.
Qualifications and/or experience desired for this role
This role is Ideal for someone with at least 2 years’ experience in a relevant business role with a demonstrable track record in establishing and building business relationships.
They will need to possess excellent written and analytical skills, be a good listener with outstanding communication skills.
A degree level or higher qualification is preferred but not essential.

Other information
- Monday to Friday – 9.00am to 5.30pm
- Expectation that some evening and weekend work will be required to attend events as the business requires, without further remuneration.
- Ukie allows remote work, but there is an expectation of regular visits to the office.
- This role profile is not exhaustive; it will be subject to periodic review and may be amended to meet the changing needs of the business.
- The post holder will be expected to participate in this process and we would aim to reach agreement to the changes.
