As Performance Marketing Manager, you will be the driving force behind acquiring and re-engaging players through data-driven marketing strategies. You will be responsible for leading the ideation, execution, and analysis of performance marketing campaigns across multiple channels, working closely with game Product and Marketing leaders, and external agencies to maximize ROI and achieve ambitious growth targets. You will play a critical role in developing innovative solutions, optimizing marketing spend, and ensuring all campaigns are aligned with product, brand, and overall campaign goals. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring we can make informed decisions based on measurable outcomes, and quickly identify opportunities for improvement.
What you'll do:

  • Strategic Leadership: Drive sustained revenue growth through data-driven paid strategies, benchmarks, and continuous optimization, ensuring a clear understanding of campaign ROI and optimal CPA.
  • Campaign Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive campaign strategies and set KPIs with a focus on visibility, wishlisting, and conversion to sales, ensuring campaigns are aligned with product, brand, and overall campaign goals.
  • Agency Management: Set strategic direction for agencies, providing clear expectations and leveraging their expertise and industry insights to optimize campaign performance.
  • Audience Targeting: Effectively reach target audiences through precise audience segmentation and ad targeting across platforms, channels, and geographies, continuously exploring alternative and adjacent audiences.
  • Creative Strategy: Collaborate closely with the Content Marketing Manager and creative teams to develop compelling ad creatives, working hand-in-hand to test concepts and ensure high-quality visuals and messaging.
  • Budget Management: Strategically distribute budgets across different campaign beats (e.g., announcement vs. launch) to maximize impact and ROI.
  • Retargeting: Implement effective retargeting campaign strategies to re-engage users who have previously engaged with our games.
  • Market Awareness: Maintain a strong understanding of the impact of wider market activities and timing (e.g., sales) on campaign performance.
  • Data Analysis & Predictive Modeling: Conduct in-depth data analysis to benchmark performance across the portfolio, titles, and channels, leveraging agency and industry data. Develop and refine predictive models for ROI based on historical data, attribution modeling, and past campaign performance, working closely with the Data & Insights team. Monitor early indicators of campaign performance (e.g., CTR and CPC) to optimize spend.
  • Continuous Learning & Improvement: Analyze past campaign data to inform future strategies and improve performance. Identify patterns and trends to optimize conversion rates across all channels. Establish clear frameworks for making data-driven decisions, including CPA and ROAS targets. Implement and manage A/B testing capabilities for ad creatives, landing pages, and campaign strategies to optimize performance.
