Principal Gameplay Engineer - UK - £90k

"To apply: Ref - 5301600. My client is looking for a Principal Gameplay Engineer to join their AAA studio to work on some well known titles. This will include working on a battle royale project for a well-established company based in the UK. The role can offer relocation and visa assistance if needed. The salary on offer is up to £90k depending on the candidate + bonuses/benefits.

The client is looking for you to bring a fresh take on implementing gameplay systems. You will also be responsible for developing gameplay features, working closely with other departments. You will also be expected to mentor/train other junior engineers.

The ideal candidate we are looking for would ideally have experience in a similar position and harbour some of the following skills.

Several years’ experience working with C++

Worked/released at least 1 title on console/PC  

Experience with Unreal Engine

Good understanding of different game engines/architecture
