Principal Physics Engineer - UK/remote - £120k

"To apply: Ref - 5298100. My client is looking for a Senior/Principal Physics Engineer to join their AAA studio to work on a AAA action project. The salary on offer is up to £120k depending on the candidate + benefits. The role can offer full remote working opportunities.

The client is looking for you to bring a fresh take of Physics within AAA projects. You will also be responsible for implementing and optimising physics simulation systems between characters, objects etc. You will also be designing and implementing high quality physics systems to improve an action simulation project. You will also be expected to solve complex real-time physics problems.  

The ideal candidate we are looking for would ideally have experience in a similar position and harbour some of the following skills.

Several years’ experience working with C++

Worked/published at least 1 title on PC/Console

Good understanding of 3D math/Physics/memory management etc  

Clear and high quality code  

Experience with physics systems such as Havok/PhysX is a bonus

Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Maths or Physics
