Pocket Sized Hands is seeking a Producer to collaborate with our growing team to help create amazing titles with world-renowned IPs such as Rick and Morty and Oddworld. About the Role
As a Producer at Pocket Sized Hands, you will take responsibility for coordinating development work, helping to ensure projects stay on schedule and helping to improve our workflows and processes within the studio. You will work alongside the leadership team and other departments, facilitating communication and project delivery. You’ll drive the development process from pre-production to launch, balancing team needs with project requirements and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Work with team leads to define milestone and sprint deliverables for the team and then help to drive the successful delivery of all objectives.
- Create a detailed project plan and development schedule. Manage project milestones, monitoring progress and daily workflow.
- Identify risks, roadblocks, and bottlenecks that may prevent the team from achieving their goals and escalate issues when necessary.
- Work closely with leadership, production, and other team members to define processes and workflows that enable efficient delivery of our projects.
- Own and drive project ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives) to ensure they are effective and efficient.
- Use production tools (jira or similar) to organize task allocation and plan sprints for the projects, keeping the team organized, and facilitating the creative and technical development process.
- Provide clear and complete status updates to internal stakeholders and manage clients through both written and verbal communication.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 /year (depending on experience)

Location: Dundee, Our team is predominantly office based with a small number of people working fully remotely, however we do offer a hybrid working model and are supportive of flexible arrangements to help our people thrive. For this role, flexibility comes with a balance and you'll be office-based at least 50% of the time in order to facilitate key project ceremonies and ensure there is a significant amount of organic ('water-cooler') contact time with co-workers you might not be on the same project as and our Senior Leadership team.
