Product Manager – PC/Console Studio – Hertfordshire (Hybrid)
Amiqus have partnered with an exciting studio based in Hertfordshire who are looking to hire a talented Product Manager to join their growing team. The studio has helped release some of the best indie games on the console/PC market and this position will offer you the chance to work with these titles and new releases.
As a member of the Product and Marketing team, you will be working closely with the developers and helping them plan their future releases. Other responsibilities include talking to internal PR, Social Media and Product Teams to help get ‘the word out’ on these exciting new releases. The position comes with a lot of influence in the studio as you’ll be directly interfacing with all sides of game development, from sales, retail, development and media, also having a huge say on the Marketing Strategy of the business and the budgets around this.
The role will offer you a fast-paced environment in a fast-growing studio with games that have attracted a large number of users. You will also be involved with the product launch of new upcoming titles and taking developers through the journey of first contact to a shipped release.
You’ll also get the opportunity to attend worldwide events and liaise with their existing Marketing Team to uphold a positive brand and PR for the studio.
This role offers a hybrid model which includes 3 days remote and 2 days onsite. The studio offer a range of benefits such as relocation assistance, pension, choice of laptop, training and development plans and a generous holiday allowance.
This is a 10 Month FTC with the strong possibility of extending further.
Salary range - £40,000 - £55,000
Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Product/Marketing position
- Games Industry experience
- Ability to interface with clients, consumers and media
- Excellent customer facing and writing skills
- Highly approachable and a good ability to network
- An avid player of indie games (especially the Anime world)
