We need someone who is self-motivated, is highly organised, possesses strong leadership and team-building skills, can grow and mentor the production team and who understands what makes a great game.

What you’ll do:

  • Coordinate the Production effort across the team and own the processes, functions and systems we use to manage our game development and delivery

  • Provide consistent and clear communication on the status of projects to senior stakeholders.

  • Work with the production team to identify, assign, and track development issues and risks to completion and resolution.

  • Solve complex partner and business problems and balance priorities across multiple disciplines and teams.

  • Collaborate and assist with coordinating the game release process with internal publishing colleagues in Marketing/Brand and Community.

  • Develop strong relationships with external developers, service providers (QA, porting etc) and platform holders.

  • Ensure Producers identify, track, and mitigate key development and publishing risks on their titles.

  • Hire, manage and mentor producers and QA at all levels, and support their growth and career development to ensure they have clear goals and expectations.

  • Support the CEO & director team to execute the company strategy and vision.

  • Assist with portfolio planning and identifying future products.

  • Work directly with business development on developer due diligence

We would also like for you to learn and grow, using our internal expertise but also by staying on top of current industry trends and practices.

A little about you:

  • 8+ years of Production experience in both publishing & development roles.

  • Launched at least 2-3 Indie/AA games (PC Steam & console) from start to finish as Senior Producer or Executive Producer.

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively as a mediator between all development and publishing disciplines.

  • Proven experience working on multiple projects simultaneously while empowering a high degree of autonomy from production team members.

  • An ability to inspire and motivate the teams and individuals they lead.

  • Multiple years of experience managing direct reports with varying levels of production experience.

  • Expert-level understanding of the game development process (ideally from hands-on experience leading development teams).

  • Ability to foresee and mitigate key development risks including those related to scope, budget, staffing and product quality.

  • Experience with the publishing process on console & PC including early access.

  • Ability to lead to and deliver on hard product deadlines with rapid development cycles while being the guardian over product quality in all phases of game development from concept to completion.

  • An ability to resolve conflicts, with particular regard to mitigating, and resolving development, publishing and product quality risks.

  • Strategic planning and portfolio management, specifically in the Indie PC and console space.

You will be an individual who is passionate about the indie games space inside and out, and has a collaborative spirit with great communication skills, and not be afraid to ask questions or be critical.
