We’re a second family here, we all look out for each other, and we love what we do, but we understand that your real family needs you too, so we aim to strike the perfect work life balance enabling you to have fun at the office and get home to your loved ones with time to spare. The Senior Artist Role: We’re looking for a Senior Artist to join our studio to contribute to asset creation to ensure our ‘Little People’ have a fantastically rich and expansive world to inhabit in some of our exciting upcoming releases., to work on some of our exciting upcoming releases. Reporting to the Lead Artist, you’ll work closely with the internal art team at Two Point Studios, contributing to the art requirements and standards for our multiple projects in development, with a focus on 3D art and asset creation.  In this role you’ll be working with the Art, Code, Design and Animation teams to contribute ideas and work together to cohesively make our game shine in all aspects. You’ll be an enthusiastic and self-motivated team member who has a passion for 3D art and making excellent games. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, solid work ethic and a positive, friendly attitude. Responsibilities: 

  • Working with the Lead Artist to be another representative and champion of the art direction, quality and standards for our games.
  • Working with the Production team to support the planning of the art requirements of our games, with a focus on 3D art, so that we have a realistic view of what’s required and a plan to deliver it across the game’s development.
  • Working with the Production team to deliver the milestones and sprints for our games, and the required 3D art and assets.
  • Working closely with the development team (code, design and animation) to deliver the best cohesive experience and ensure all 3D art developed works amazingly with all other aspects of the game.
  • Helping to identify further development for the pipelines and processes for art creation across the studio to ensure efficient development is possible and manageable.
  • 3D asset creation from modelling to texturing to materials.
  • Possibly level creation and layout in conjunction with the design team.
  • Optimisation, technical, pipeline and efficiency tasks.

 Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience: 

  • Significant experience as an artist within the games industry, with a focus on 3D art.
  • A team player who is passionate about working with design to make the best game in terms of art and gameplay.
  • A passion to develop, mentor and support others.
  • Fast and efficient 3D modeller.
  • A creative eye and care for art direction in your own work and the work of your team.
  • Able to work on new ideas from briefs rather than just following concept art.
  • Knowledge of major 3D software packages (Maya is preferred).
  • Experience with Unity or other recognised game engines.
  • Experience with Adobe Substance Painter (Designer is a plus).
  • Able to communicate effectively with fellow artists, designers and programmers.
  • Establish technical guidelines for the creation of assets.
  • Real passion for making game art.

 Not essential, but it helps if you have: 

  • Played Two Point Hospital and/or Two Point Campus and are familiar with the games.
