Senior Backend Engineer - £80k - London

"To apply: Ref - 5324100. My client is looking for a Senior Backend (Python) Engineer to join their mobile game studio and work on an up and coming project is similar to Ready Player One. The salary on offer is up to £80k depending on the candidate.

The client is looking for you to bring a fresh take Experience with CI/CD and an interest and experience in DevOps practices. You will also be expected to develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Golang and Python, with a focus on performance and security.

You will also be responsible for developing gameplay features, working closely with other departments. You will also be expected to mentor/train other junior engineers.

The ideal candidate we are looking for would ideally have experience in a similar position and harbour some of the following skills.

• Several years’ experience working with Golang, Python
• Worked/released at least 1 title on mobile/console/PC
• Experience with games
• Bachelors in computer science
