This client is still hiring remotely and until lockdowns end this will be a remote working role.

 

We’re excited to be working with an incredible studio in London who are working on numerous exciting projects. They have worked on really beloved, and well received AAA titles, and are looking to create even more beautiful titles. We are looking for a Senior Environment Artist, who is eager to craft extraordinary environments and is knowledgeable about how the environment will affect gameplay. This is a full-time and permanent job, and salary will be depending on experience with other benefits as well.

 

The Job

As a Senior Environment Artist, you will be creating beautiful high quality environment works that are both stand alone and modular. You will work with the Lead Environment Artist to make sure that all work follows along with the project’s creative direction. You will work from photos and concepts to then create the environment artwork for the game, and also review and implement it into the game editor. You will be expected to troubleshoot any issues, as well as adjust your work based on given feedback. Furthermore, you will collaborate with a variety of teams, including, level design, lighting, VFX and technical art. And finally, you will help to mentor and aid the less experienced artists on the team.

 

The Person

Ideally, you will need to have prior experience in a similar role

 

You will need:

  • Experience with the asset tracking software
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and Substance Painter
  • Knowledge of Maya, and 3DSMax
