Senior/Lead UX Designer PC/Console Games Canada REF 2918

Our client is a thriving studio based in Quebec, they are seeking a French speaking Senior/Lead UX Designer to collaborate closely with creative minds across game strategy, design, art, animation, and engineering to shape immersive user experiences. This role is offered fully remote if based in Canada.

What you will be doing:

• Work together with producers, game designers, and art directors to establish the experiential direction of the project
• Improve and streamline UX processes across the company, leading efforts to enhance procedures
• Create comprehensive documentation with flows wireframes and prototypes to facilitate cross departmental understanding of the UX vision
• Make informed data-based decisions by utilising research and testing to promote a user-friendly design
• Guide fellow UX designers as a mentor, nurturing the growth of the UX practice within the team.
• Advocate for the significance of UX and accessibility, staying informed about the newest trends and best practices in gaming and application design.

Who you are:

• Highly experienced individual with at least 8 years in the industry and an enthusiasm for video games
• Committed to integrating and strengthening UX processes within the production pipeline
• Your communication abilities are outstanding, you effectively communicate and rationalize design decisions through compelling presentations and documentation
• You stay at the forefront of emerging trends and readily share these ideas with the team welcoming feedback and offering useful insights
• Fosterer of positivity and proactivity, being resourceful and efficient are characteristics you possess and instil throughout the company
• Familiarity with Figma is a plus
• Unreal and or Unity knowledge is a plus
• Fluency in spoken and written French at a professional level is a prerequisite.
