Senior Level Designer

My client is seeking a Senior Level Designer to join their London team to design and build maps for an unannounced online tactical sci-fi shooter.

The successful candidate will collaborate with art and design to create compelling worlds and challenging encounters, demonstrating a deep understanding of core systems and mechanics. You should be comfortable with world-building and prototyping new content in Unreal Engine. The role will see you maintaining and improving existing maps, adjusting, and balancing them as new features and mechanics are introduced.

This is a hybrid role based in the UK, requiring three days a week on-site at the London Bridge office.

What are we looking for from you?

• Recent experience building multiplayer maps and balancing encounters for first-person shooters
• Knowledge of building maps for open world and sandbox games
• Ideally you'll have worked with Unreal Engine world-building tools
• Strong, collaborative and inclusive communication skills
• Someone who ideally loves games in all their formats - table top, online or even choose your own adventure books!
