The roleAs Senior Level Designer you’ll design and build engaging spaces and experiences using our proprietary engine to primarily compose layouts and complement them with lighter scripting. Close collaboration with Art, Narrative and other Design disciplines (i.e. Mission, World and Game Design) is needed to realise the vision of the game and to deliver locations that balance visuals and gameplay requirements equally.

What you'll do
- Designing, building and iterating on locations, encounter spaces and key story destinations in the world. From planning to final quality.
- Working according to defined gameplay metrics to accommodate for fluid traversal and highly interactable combat in your levels.
- Typical tasks include: Scripting and tweaking templates (for activities, enemy/combat setups, NPC behaviour)
- Help identify problems and improve workflows both with the toolset and content pipeline/production (i.e. structure/building prefabs, asset collections, setting up layout and scripting templates etc.)
Who you are
- You have a good understanding of how to build for emergent situations and support systemic gameplay systems with your layouts. Building for player opportunities and multiple possible approaches instead of one predefined solution.
- You have great understanding of dependencies and associated workflows of other departments
- Highly proficient with 3D level design tools and familiar with visual scripting workflows.
- You have previous experience working as a Level Designer in the game industry, ideally having worked on an open-world title.
