The PositionWe are looking for a Senior Systems Designer to join our new AAA project. You will take a key role in creating and balancing multiple game systems including player progression, game economy, sandbox gameplay systems, and more. On a high level, you and fellow game designers will lead the creative development for this new title and work closely with the Game Design Lead, Producer, and Development Team to realize the production plan until release and further.
What you'll do:
- Design systems for player progression and open world gameplay.
- Be a champion for systemic solutions to design challenges.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior designers.
- Support multidisciplinary team efforts to realize gameplay features from concept to release at the highest possible quality.
Who you are:
- Have multiple years experience as a Gameplay Systems Designer, preferably for an open world game.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- An advocate for feedback & discussion within development teams.
- Someone who loves creating & sharing spreadsheets.
