WHO ARE MYTHWRIGHT?
We are a new games publisher, established by industry veterans with a long track record of success in this space. At present, we are focused primarily on Steam, building a portfolio of games in niche markets with committed fan-bases.
ABOUT
In this role, it's your job to manage and grow the fanbase of each of our games and Mythwright as a publisher. You’ll create engaging video content for social media platforms like TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels to connect with players and build excitement about the games.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build Strong, Engaged Communities
You will be able to unleash your creativity and be responsible for growing the size of our video-based social channels through a variety of engaging ways, such as memes, targeted marketing, experimentation and smart use of contractors.
Social Strategy
Every game is different, and its audience can be also. It's your job to identify the best video content to reach and engage with those audiences and build them over time. You will get to:
- Build a content pipeline that can produce at least one new highly engaging video per day for use on TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.
- Experiment with and create an engaging publisher TikTok tone of voice.
- Create audience profiles for each game using qualitative & quantitative research
- Build a plan and strategy to grow these channels materially over time
- Bring our developers along with you and involve them in the process
Channel Growth
Your focus will be on growing our TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels and will have you:
- Create interesting content that drives organic growth
- Use channel-specific trends & memes to drive organic growth
- Provide monitoring and analysis on organic and in-organic growth
- Write-up outcomes / ROI for each experiment / campaign
Leverage
As your time will be finite, with a lot of games to cover, we expect you to build and work with a network of freelancers to accomplish your goals.
- You will provide training and support to our developers on their similar channels.
- Use freelancers where appropriate to provide additional support in content creation, video editing, moderation and social posting.
- Use tools and technology where appropriate.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone inventive and entrepreneurial, who is deep in the data and detail. Resourceful and hands-on, you are comfortable doing the implementation as well as the analysis.
- You will have a demonstrable track record of materially growing video-based social channels over time.
- Be extremely quick learner, able to absorb lots of information and be able to produce concise summaries and action points.
- Whilst experience in the games industry is not a requirement, a love of games definitely helps!
