Strategic Initiatives Coordinator

Avalanche Studios Group is recruiting a Strategic Initiatives Coordinator to work directly with our CEO and join a top-tier team ready to raise the bar in the gaming industry. We are looking for an analytical, motivated, and driven individual, who is excited about being part of driving Avalanche Studios Group in its quest to be one of the best AAA studios and publishers of bold and innovative open-world experiences in the industry. This role reports directly to the CEO and will be instrumental in driving organizational success and ensuring effective operations across the company.
As the Strategic Initiatives Coordinator, you will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives, operational initiatives, enhancing executive effectiveness, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. You will partner closely with the CEO and work closely with both the executive management team and leaders across all our locations, acting as an analyst, project manager, and catalyst for operational and organizational excellence. This position offers an opportunity to shape our company's direction and success and is set to be an 18 - 24 months contract. After this period, you will either maintain your position or transition to another senior role in the company.
What you'll do

  • Partner closely with the executive team to align strategic goals, drive effective decision-making, and ensure coordinated execution of key initiatives. Provide oversight to ensure efficient and effective use of resources, driving excellence throughout the organization. 
  • Take on concrete projects, both strategically and operationally, to drive the development and implementation of these initiatives and priorities, ensuring alignment with the company's vision, mission, and goals. Ensure timely and successful execution while collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Conduct in-depth research, analyze data, and gather relevant information to support the CEO in critical decision-making. Prepare high-impact presentations, reports, and briefings that effectively communicate key insights and recommendations while ensuring clarity, accuracy, and strategic focus.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments and teams, fostering a culture of transparency, information sharing, and innovation.
  • Serve as a trusted liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, building relationships and providing strategic guidance. 
  • Support the Office of the CEO on a day to day basis: Help the Office of the CEO stay organized, track priorities, and summarize key information needed to make critical decisions for the various entities, and ensuring effective time management and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Owning the executive-level meetings, strategic planning sessions, and key engagements, ensuring that these provide the organization with the needed effectiveness and decision-making platform.

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, with a strong academic record. Advanced degrees such as MBA are highly valued.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to provide valuable insights and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully driving complex initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive information and confidential matters.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and drive organizational success.
  • Agility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving industry and navigate through ambiguity and change.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Prior experience as a consultant with demonstrated expertise in strategic problem-solving, data analysis, and client engagement and/or the gaming industry, including market trends, player dynamics, and emerging technologies are desirable but not necessary. Interest in working within a creative organization.
  • The role is located in Stockholm, Sweden.
