"To apply: Ref - 5366600. We’re on the lookout for a Technical Designer to join one of our game teams - a group of about 100 awesome folks working together to create something amazing.
In this role, you’ll be the bridge between design and code, bringing ideas to life by creating, implementing, and refining tools, systems, and workflows. It’s a chance to collaborate, innovate, and help shape the game from the ground up.
What you’ll be doing:
• Build prototypes to help the design team experiment with cool new features.
• Spot technical challenges in designs and offer clever solutions or tweaks.
• Suggest and implement improvements for design tools and workflows.
• Work on gameplay systems like environmental destruction to make them balanced and fun.
• Team up with other disciplines to ensure designs align with tech pipelines.
What we’d love to see:
• At least 3 years of experience as a technical designer in game development.
• A knack for AAA PvP gameplay and systems design, plus an understanding of player psychology and UX.
• Experience with Unreal Engine (bonus points if you know your way around blueprints or UnrealEngine-Angelscript).
• Familiarity with programming languages like C#, Lua, or Python.
• A creative, curious mindset and a love for collaboration.
• Some knowledge of other game-making areas like animation, physics, or 3D art.
• Great communication skills in English.
