Associate Design Director AAA Games London – REF 2781

We are working with a leading AAA game studio based in London who is looking for an experienced Associate Design Director to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join a AAA studio and play an integral part of the development of an exciting unannounced title.  

What you will be doing:

• Assist the Design Director in driving the execution of the creative vision,
• Helping to direct the design and the Design teams
• Represent and support the needs of the business, the player, and the team members
• Be responsible for the output and growth of the entire design discipline on your project
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of all design documentation
• Facilitate effective and efficient communication with project leadership
• Manage, mentor, and develop Lead Game Designer

Who you are:

• Great amount of games industry experience
• A passion for making and playing games
• Previously shipped a AAA title in an equivalent role
• A deep understanding of all aspects of design
• Previously shipped multiple titles in a leadership role
• Experience delivering on project goals, translating the high-level vision into actionable tasks
• The ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines and experience of being a key part of a leadership group
• Up to date knowledge with industry trends
• Experience with design documentation, diagram, and flow-chart creation
• Excellent English verbal, written and presentation skills
