About You

We are looking for a highly ambitious Business Development Manager to join Reforged Studios to help manage our Business Development efforts. This is a pivotal role within the company and an excellent career opportunity for the right person.

You are:

  • Confident in pitching games and services to publishers, with a proven track record of closing high value development, publishing and work-for-hire deals.
  • Highly numerate, with a deep understanding of the economics of game development and publishing on a wide variety of platforms including PC, Console and Mobile.
  • Well organised, with experience in creating meaningful schedules of meetings with key contacts at industry events.
  • Laser focused on identifying and prioritising business opportunities that have the most potential value to the company based on its objectives and strategy.
  • Diligent in networking; recognising the importance of building and maintaining strong client relationships to the success of the business achieving high-value partnerships.
  • An excellent negotiator that can drive commercial conversations to successful conclusions.
  • Up to date with market trends and competitor activities.

This role needs a business minded individual who has an extensive background in the games industry which has allowed them to establish and build a diverse network of contacts that they are able to leverage.

About the role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth from both our existing games and our forthcoming titles by identifying, qualifying and pursuing new market opportunities while developing strategic partnerships.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Pitching to publishers for games funding
  • Development of long-term partnerships
  • Securing work-for-hire contracts
  • Identifying M&A targets

This is a UK-based role, so we can only accept applications from candidates who have the right to work in the UK.
