We're working exclusively with a AAA game developer based in Farnborough; they're expanding and have just signed some incredible IP to bring to life. As part of their growth they want to develop Production as a discipline. This is where someone like you comes in; they want to bring in someone who can nurture and develop the Producers and production as a set of processes and tools. They aren't looking for someone tied to one method or way of working, but someone who knows a good idea when they see one, and who can adapt it to deliver million pound projects. You'd be managing a team of 4 producers, who in turn have more junior people reporting to them. The studio work on around 2-3 large projects at any one time. The whole studio numbers around 100 people.
The role would see be the custodian of Production in the studio, you'd be it's champion and custodian. Holding producers to a higher standard of operating, whilst continually working to ensure they have the best and most appropriate training, mentoring, tools and software.
To be considered, we'd love to see:
- A career-long commitment to Production, you've forged a career from the early stages to reach this point
- In-depth knowledge of multiple Production methodologies, workflows, tools and thinking
- Top tier communication skills (inclusive and confident)
- Undeniable knowledge of Game Development
- You've taken several games from concept to completion
The studio is currently working from home, but intends to return with a really flexible WFH/Remote option. They offer a collaborative and friendly environment stocked full of talented people making great games. They are a very inclusive company and would really welcome applications from traditionally under-represented demographics.
They are offering a generous salary alongside a packed benefits package.
