Responsibilities
- Design and create intuitive user interfaces for games that enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with game designers and artists to develop cohesive visual styles and interactive elements.
- Conduct user testing and gather feedback to continually improve interface designs and usability.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Ensure that UX elements are optimized for performance and can be polished during production and testing phases.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in game design and UX, integrating best practices into your work.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UX/UI designer or artist, particularly in the gaming industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing user interface design, including examples of game projects.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and usability testing methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate design concepts effectively.
- Passion for games and understanding of how interfaces impact player engagement and experience.
