Producer – AAA Games Studio – Warsaw

Project: Unreal Engine (UE4) – AAA Games

OPMs clients is seeking a Producer to join a well-known independent game developer at their Warsaw based studio. They are looking to reshape the industry landscape and on a new generation of Online Shooters for the worldwide gaming community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take responsibility for delivery of 2-3 features or overseeing 2-3 teams of developers simultaneously
• Aiding and improving internal development processes
• Cooperating with Leads and Directors to manage the production of features
• Collaborating with other Producers to generate realistic schedules and mitigate risks
• Managing development teams and supporting their needs
• Working with internal groups during the development process and communicating with the publisher and external vendors
• Identifying any potential risks with proposed solutions, and communicate this clearly on a routine basis to the production lead or senior producer

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong experience in a production role in the gaming industry
• Experience developing a AAA multi-platform title
• Experience in managing a large team
• Great project management skills
• Great presentation skills
• Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Great knowledge of rights and licensing
• Basic negotiation skills
• Outstanding problem solving, organisational and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively with people with different specialisations and backgrounds
• Knowledge of end-user needs and expectations
• Self-motivated
• Passionate about games and games industry
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Strong verbal and written communication English skills

DESIRED SKIILLS (good to have):

• Excellent knowledge of the shooter genre, games and their USPs, trends
