Senior Producer

ISM Fantasy Games are looking for an experienced Senior Producer to lead the production of the Fantasy Premier League franchise of games serving over 11m players. The role includes managing the collaboration between The Premier League, the ISM development team and other agencies and their tech teams to deliver the game on time and to quality.

Responsibilities
• Overseeing game production, leading an internal and external production team through a hybrid agile/waterfall method.
• Receiving requests for updates to existing games or new requirements ensuring tasks are defined and scheduled.
• Working with the development team on costing, scoping and scheduling work to meet the deadline, being aware of dependencies and tracking velocity.
• Reviewing existing processes and tools, bringing about improvements to make projects run more smoothly.
• Supporting the Product owner to manage the backlog, working with the Premier League to determine priorities of work required.
• Planning work schedules and assigning developers to tasks as needed.
• Reporting regularly through email updates, project plans and weekly calls with stakeholders at the Premier League and internally at ISM.
• Leading the daily stand-up meeting with the rest of the team to discuss progress and blockers.
• Managing the project board and the tasks through from the backlog to release.
• Driving forward production practices to improve and modernise existing methodologies.
• Effectively communicate with the Premier League to understand requirements, priorities and execute on them.
• Being proactive with generating ideas to enhance the proposition for FPL players.
 

Experience
• Proven experience running large-scale web or game development projects using Scrum.
• Experience of leading multiple scrum teams.
• Experience managing scrum and project boards using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps with a codebase in GitHub would be advantageous
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience of playing Fantasy Premier League is desirable, but not essential.
The role can be mainly home-based (residing in the UK) with some travel to the Bristol office (e.g. monthly). There will also be the requirement to visit the Premier League offices in Paddington when requested.
