This is a brand new role, overseeing all of our Localisation QA and Translation delivery out of our Asian studios and is likely to be based in our Taiwan office.  The position would be perfect for an experienced manager looking for their next step in the video games industry.  This is a hands on role which needs someone who will thoroughly embrace a very paced environment.  

What you’ll be doing
  • Managing all Localisation QA and Translation projects delivered from out Asian studios
  • Working closely with peers in across the global organisation to ensure all projects exceed client expectations
  • Managing a team of Operations Managers and Project Managers to enable them to grow and develop
  • Creating and implementing unified processes using industry and company best practice standards
  • Reviewing and assessing delivery on an ongoing basis to ensure continual improvement
  • Managing budgets, staff utilisation, etc. to ensure profitability
  • Being a champion for linguistic quality

  What we’re looking for
  • High level of fluency in both English is essential
    • Significant experience in games QA testing preferably in an outsourced environment
    • Experience of leading Localisation teams preferred
    • Knowledge of localisation and translation technologies would be beneficial
    • First rate leadership and negotiation skills
    • Strong analytical and budgeting skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to manage a constantly changing workload
    • Ability to work under pressure and with constantly changing priorities
    • Excellent team-working and influencing skills
    • Flexibility regarding hours of work
    • Strong IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
