Job Description CCP Games, the makers of EVE: Online and pioneers in Virtual Reality, are looking for a Senior Brand Manager to lead marketing efforts for advanced VR experiences being developed in their cutting-edge CCP Atlanta studio. The Senior Brand Manager will represent the voice of the player during the development process, inspire our dev team, partner with our marketing organization across the world, and help lead the team into the future. Join an awesome team of developers and game makers creating some of the most groundbreaking VR experiences in the world, and help shape how millions will participate, engage and play in Virtual Reality. The position is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and reports to the Senior Brand Director, who is based in the UK.
  • Identify player needs, analyze market and competitive environments, and translate all this into inspiring guidance for the development team
  • Partner with production partners to ensure game fit with players expectations and needs
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with key internal product leaders
  • Provide strategic and tactical marketing leadership across a diverse publishing organization
  • Develop and own the product positioning, messaging framework and brand identity to guide marketing and communications
  • Empower players, employees, and partners to become brand advocates and evangelists. Become a brand evangelist and ambassador
  • Direct and coordinate internal resources and external agencies to achieve business goals
  • Lead the creation of marketing assets
  • Create and drive innovative marketing and communication strategies
  • Analyze and act on key performance indicators to drive value

  • Strong personal and professional communication skills
  • Ability to challenge conventional thinking in a constructive, customer-centric way
  • Passion for analyzing product offerings, customers and market dynamics and assess and create competitive analyses, opportunities and market segmentation.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills; ability to juggle and manage multiple priorities under tight project deadlines
  • Proven record of leading diverse groups of people to achieve desired results
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications, Business, Economics, or related experience required; MBA preferred
  • 5 years of experience in Brand/Product Marketing in the games industry or consumer technology
  • 3+ years of experience managing a digital IP, online service, or entertainment property from a brand/marketing perspective
  • Familiarity and experience with software development practices preferred
