Job Description A Newcastle based apps developer are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to help them ship several new features for their communications app.

The app is hugely popular on a global scale with total users well into the millions and your role here will involve working closely with external clients and internal Development Directors to define the vision of the projects and maintain a high level of quality for released features.

Founded in early 2000’s this team have grown and are now one of the leading platforms for global communities. They have a fantastic reputation within their industry and the team in place here come from a varied set of backgrounds including video games apps and software development so there’s a lot of experience to learn from here.

Your first task will be to focus and lead the planning of the development team within the studio you’ll work closely with the programmers to set realistic goals and deadlines and manage the development process from start to finish. You’ll act as a point of contact for external stakeholders and have ownership of the feature release cycle too.

Requirements:

  • Experience managing a full development cycle within an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Prior experience managing a technical team
  • Strong accountability in managing the delivery process within a mobile client group
  • Self-starter with superior time management project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to provide clear communication and status updates verbally and digitally.
