About Gamer Network and RPS

Rock, Paper, Shotgun was founded in 2007 by four games journalism veterans with a mission to evangelise PC games with passion and wit, from the smallest independent releases to the most popular blockbusters. It has grown since to become one of the world's most popular PC games sites, and was acquired by Gamer Network in 2017.

Founded in 1999, Gamer Network publishes a range of video games websites including Eurogamer.net, USG, VG247 and market-leading trade resource GamesIndustry.biz

Popular YouTube channels such as Outside Xbox, Outside Xtra and Digital Foundry also form part of the family, alongside several partner websites such as NintendoLife.com.

In addition to its online publications, Gamer Network produces live public events and trade shows including EGX, the UK's largest gaming event, and its sister events EGX Rezzed and EGX Berlin.

In 2018, Gamer Network became part of the global ReedPOP team that is responsible for epic pop culture events such as PAX, New York Comic Con, MCM Comic Con, and Star Wars Celebration.

This does not have to be paid/professional writing, and can just be a personal blog, but your application must have some written work for us to review.
