Job Description Thanks to Gamer Network’s continued sales growth and our very successful brand within a dynamic demographic, we have a requirement for a motivated and ambitious Advertising Sales Executive to take on an entry level role and work as part of our Ad Sales team to drive growth across a range of clients.

The successful candidate will learn the role from the ground up, working with a very experienced and capable team with a distinguished track record. As part of that, you will get the opportunity to grow as an Account Exec while interacting with a deep roster of games developers, publishers, ad agencies and media partners. The role will benefit from being able to leverage Gamer Network’s sector-leading portfolio of sites while learning how to meet the needs of our clients and partners.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Work as part of a team to cover the media / ad sales for our full range of consumer-facing sites that Gamer Network publishes.
  • Support existing clients, and develop new ones, via telephone, email and face to face.
  • Grow revenue and market share across our network of websites and digital platforms.
  • Learn to deal with games developers, publishers, advertising agencies and partners and handle demanding, customer-facing relationships in the sector.
  • Build your presentation skills and be able to present to a range of relevant clients, agencies and media partners.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Natural media / advertising sales ability.
  • Some demonstrable commercial success in any previous sales or other relevant role.
  • A strong ambition to sell online / digital media and advertising solutions to videogames, entertainment and technology clients, agencies and media partners
  • High degree of business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Ability to present to all levels of seniority, both externally and internally
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
  • A strong work ethic with a high degree of determination and drive.
  • A positive attitude and a team mentality

Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Good standard of education, ideally to Degree level, or equivalent.
  • Any games industry exposure, with at least a personal interest or passion for the sector.
  • An interest in the technology, entertainment and lifestyle sector in general.
