Job Description OPM are excited to be working with one of the UK's most prolific and secure independent game developers, with 3 UK studios now and many fantastic new opportunities on the horizon.

Founded in 2003, this successful developer has had a string of successful titles across all gaming platforms for partners that include Microsoft, SEGA, Sony and many more. They are now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced senior programmer to join the Sheffield team, who will have opportunity make a real impact on one of the most exciting, unnannounced AAA console projects currently in development in the UK at the studios’ HQ.

As Senior Engine Programmer you will design and implement engine features in C++, debug complex engine problems and improve and extend existing engine features as needed. You will collaborate with other internal departments (Art, Design, Audio, QA, etc...) and provide support to gameplay and UI programmers. If you have a proven track record in developing and improving engine technology for AAA games and want to be part of an incredible studio making incredible games - then this is an opportunity not to be missed.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Extensive professional studio experience as a Senior Programmer
  • Strong C++ and low level engine programming skills
  • Multi-platform experience
  • Worked on a minimum of 3 shipped titles
